Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about the school and its courses, and provide the answers here. If you need additional information, please send an email to info@onlinecourseproviders.com.

1.

Are your continuing education real estate courses approved by the Arizona Department of Real Estate?

Yes, all of our real estate continuing education courses are approved by ADRE.  You may verify this by going to ADRE's web site.  The school number for Online Course Providers is S10-0005, and the school number for Arizona Course Providers is S10-0003.

2.

Do I have to complete a course in one setting, or can I start and stop?

You may click the PAUSE button on any page which is not a "question" page.  When you are ready to resume, log back in with your UserName and password, and you'll pick up right where you left off.

3.

Can I create my own 24-hour or 30-hour package?

No, Online Course Providers has a set package for each calendar year which meets all of a licensee's renewal requirements.  However, you may select individual classes and purchase them at one time if you wish.

4.

It looks like there is a broker class in my salesperson's package.  I'm not a broker.  Is it okay for me to take this?

Yes, salespeople MAY take any Broker Management Clinic class for 3 hours of Commissioner's Standards credit or for Elective credit.  This may be helpful to those salepeople who go on to obtain a broker's license in the coming months, as part of the licensing requirement will already be satisfied with this class.

5.

Why isn't there a Code of Ethics Class in my renewal package?

Licensees do not need a Code of Ethics class at all (ever) to renew a real estate license with Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE).  The Code of Ethics Training class is a requirement of the Association of REALTORS® (if you are a member) by December 31, 2016 to maintain your REALTOR® designation.  Some schools offer continuing education credit in addition to meeting the Association requirement, and some don't.  Online Course Providers DOES offer continuing education credit in the category of Commissioner's Standards for the Code of Ethics Training class.  However, since many REALTORS® just completed this class at the conclusion of NAR’s Third Quadrennial Cycle which closed December 31, 2012, we have not offered it with our packages to avoid potential overlap, as Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) will not accept the same class for credit twice in the same two-year educational cycle.  Licensees who don’t belong to the Association of REALTORS® do not need the Code of Ethics class at all, but MAY take it for continuing education credit if they wish.  Our Code of Ethics class may be purchased separately.  Upon completion, students will receive  two certificates – one to turn in to the Association of REALTORS® (if applicable) and another to turn in to ADRE for continuing education credit.

6.

How do I get back in to my online course?

Log back in by going to www.onlinecourseproviders.com, click ONLINE STUDENTS CLICK HERE, then click REGISTERED STUDENTS CLICK HERE.  When prompted, enter your UserName and password.  The classes you have not yet completed will be listed below.  Click the RESUME button beside the class you want to continue.  You'll pick back up right where you left off.

7.

When I log in, the system doesn't show my classes.  What do I do?

The system uses a UserName and password mechanism to provide you access to the classes you have purchased.  If the system does not find the UserName or password that you entered (for example, because you made a typo), it will not be able to match that UserName/password combination to the classes you've paid for.  Try re-entering your UserName and password.  Note that your UserName and password are case sensitive.  This means that if you typed "Dog" when you set your UserName and password up, that is different than "dog" "d0g" or "DOG".   In addition, some mobile devices will automatically capitalize the first letter, so be mindful of that possibility.  If re-entering your password does not resolve the problem, there is an on-screen button where you can have your password emailed to you, or you may contact us for assistance at info@onlinecourseproviders.com, 480-949-1000, 520-861-8032 or 520-742-7240.

Note also that if you established more than one UserName/password combinations, only classes associated with an individual UserName/password combination will be visible when that UserName/password combination is entered.  We highly recommend that you keep all classes under just one UserName/password.

8.

Can I take online classes on my iPad?

Yes, our classes are iPad compatible.  We officially support Internet Explorer, but many of our students have successfully completed courses on other browsers, on iPads or iPhones.

9.

I'm using a laptop that is not hooked up to a printer.  Can I still take your online classes?

Yes, you may take and complete the course on your laptop, and PRINT or REPRINT your certificates at a later time when you are connected to a printer.  To do this, log back in with your UserName and password, and choose the PRINT/REPRINT CERTIFICATE option at the bottom of the screen.

10.

Do I have to pass a test to get my certificate?

Per revised ADRE requirements which went into effect in 2010, all online real estate continuing education courses from all schools must have a minimum of 5 modules with a minimum of 5 instances of interactivity within each of the 5 modules, have end-of-module quiz questions, and 25 final examination questions.  The format which Online Course Providers has developed meets these standards and makes sure you are adequately prepared.  There are no "trick" questions; our questions are there simply to make sure you are reading.  By the time you take the final, you have seen every question which will be presented.  Most people pass our final exam on the first attempt.  But if you don't, you may simply take another final; you do not have to repeat the whole course.

11.

I need the course number before I take the class.  How can I get it?

Arizona Department of Real Estate has taken the position that course numbers may not to be given to licensees until successful COMPLETION of the course(s) on a school certificate.  Schools may not make course numbers available through advertising, print media, Internet, word-of-mouth, etc.  FYI, the numbers listed on the page where you purchased your courses from Online Course Providers are NOT the course numbers; they are internal tracking numbers.

12.

I made a mistake when I entered my registration information.  How can I get it corrected?

Log in using your UserName and password (detailed instructions are elsewhere in this FAQ).  At the bottom of the list of classes are five buttons.  One of them will allow you to correct your email address, contact information, or registration information.

13.

My license number is incorrect on my certificate.  How can I get it corrected?

The license number is extracted from the registration information you provided when you signed up for your classes.  If there is an error, log in using your UserName and password (detailed instructions are elsewhere in this FAQ).  At the bottom of the list of classes are five buttons.  One of them will allow you to correct your license number or other registration information.

14.

My course completion certificate did not print correctly.  How can I get another one?

Log in with your UserName and password, and choose the PRINT/REPRINT CERTIFICATE option at the bottom of the screen.  If you are having formatting issues or there is data missing (like your name or license number), trying using Internet Explorer as your browser when you are printing your certicates.  Still having problems?  Contact us at info@onlinecourseproviders.com, 480-949-1000, 520-861-8032 or 520-742-7240.

15.

My course number is being rejected by ADRE.  What do I do?

All of our real estate continuing education courses are approved by ADRE.  Use the course number from the certificate that you printed out (NOT from the screen where you purchased the courses).  It is located in the middle of your course completion certificate, just about the course title.  The first two characters are capital letters and the last four are numbers.  Enter the numbers exactly as shown.  Do not add any spaces, dashes, or other punctuation.

16.

Can you email, mail or fax my certificate to me?

Yes, but there are several ways for you to avoid a duplicate certificate fee, as indicated in #6, #9, #10 and #11 or this Frequently Asked Questions document.  The duplicate certificate fee is $5.00 per certificate.  Requests will be filled within one business day of verification of your completion of the course and the receipt of duplicate certificate fee.  Please do NOT email credit card information for duplicate certificates, but rather contact us by phone at 480-949-1000, 520-861-8032 or 520-742-7240 or send your name, phone number and email address toinfo@onlinecourseproviders.com with a list of the certificates you need and we will contact you for your credit card information.

16. How to I purchase additional classes without having to re-enter all my information?

Log in by going to www.onlinecourseproviders.com, click ONLINE STUDENTS CLICK HERE, then click REGISTERED STUDENTS CLICK HERE.  When prompted, enter your UserName and password.  A list of classes which are available for purchase will be listed below.  Click the ADD TO CART buttons next to those classes you wish to purchase, then click CHECKOUT at the bottom of the screen (you may have to scroll down).  The registration information you previously provided will be filled in; simply verify that it is correct, check the box that you agree to the terms and conditions, and enter your credit card information.  (We do not retain credit card information from prior transactions for your safety.)

17.

What are your technical support hours?

Our "official" hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however, we do check email a couple of times each evening and periodically on the weekend.

18.

I prefer to keep my money in Arizona.  Are you locally owned?

Yes, both Online Course Providers and Arizona Course Providers are Arizona businesses.  Administrative functions are based in Scottsdale, and technical support comes from Tucson, not from a foreign country.
